Italian CAEW eastern Mediterranean mission

An Italian Air Force Gulfstream E550 CAEW (reg. MM62303, f/n IAM1495) is flying from Paphos to Pratica di Mare AB.

It’s interesting that the CAEW made a stopover in Paphos but from the track that was recorded it seems that the aircraft was on a surveillance mission over the eastern Mediterranean, probably off Syria and the port of Tartus where there are several Russian naval units.
