Poseidon’s eyes on Snake island (and not only )

Also today we report a mission of a USN Boeing P-8A in the Black Sea theatre.

The aircraft, which took off from NAS Sigonella at 10:51 CEST, is now orbiting over the Danube delta, Romania.

The Poseidon is flying over land, but its sensors allow it to monitor the stretch of sea in front of it for several tens of kilometres.

From this position, it can also easily control the sea area around Snake Island, which has been the target of several Ukrainian actions against the Russian outpost in recent days.

    • E’ della guardia di frontiera rumena, svolge missioni di pattugliamento delle acque territoriali. Non è direttamente connesso con le guerra in Ucraina
