French AAR (and CAP) mission over Romania

This afternoon at 14:34 CEST a French Air Force Boeing C-135FR (reg. 735, f/n FAF4091) has left Istres AB.

In these minutes, 19:00 CEST, the aircraft is returning to Istres after an AAR mission over central Romania.

In the past there have been similar missions to Poland. The French tanker was supporting Rafale aircraft of the French Air Force which took off directly from France and that are carrying our a Combat Air Patrol (CAP) on the eastern flank of the NATO.
