New week, new US missions

A new week has begun in the Black Sea area, again under the banner of surveillance missions.

The focus seems to be on Odessa and the stretch of sea separating it from Sevastopol:

  • USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 10-2045 – callsign FORTE12) has taken off from sigonella is orbiting the western Black Sea
  • USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4131 – callsign HOMER11) took off from Souda Bay AB is flying over eastern Romania along the border with Moldovia.
