New Reapers for Italian Air Force

The latest Programme document of defence planning (2022-2024) released by the Italian Ministry of Defence lists several projects and procurement plans.

Among the most interesting ones is the acquisition of two new Predator Bs (Italian name for the General Atomics MQ-9 Block 5 ‘Reaper‘) and a control station.

The document also mentions the purchase of armaments and ammunition for drones

Currently, the Italian Air Force has 6 MQ-1 and 5 MQ-9
