This afternoon at 10:09 CEST an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62303 – callsign PERSEO71) left Pratica di Mare AB to carry out a new surveillance mission.
The aircraft had orbited over eastern Romania. From this area the aircraft had monitored Moldova (with particular attention to the Russian-controlled region of Transinistria), much of south-western Ukraine and western Black Sea.
The aircraft is expected in Pratica di Mare AB again around 19:00 CEST.
