Russian Navy Kilo submarine left Mediterranean sea

A Russian Navy Improved Kilo class submarine escorted by tug Sergey Balk left the Mediterranean Sea this morning at around 08:45 CEST.


Over the past few days we have been following the course of this unit which left Tartus, Syria, some ten days ago.

Following the departure of this unit, only one Russian Improved Kilo-class submarine remains in the Mediterranean along with another Yasen-class submarine, probably the Severodvinsk
