USS Bush in the southern Adriatic sea (again)

This morning a pair of USNavy Grumman C-2As left NAS Sigonella for the USS Bush (CVN-77) sailing in the southern Adriatic.

The two aircraft landed on the aircraft carrier at 12:52 CEST.

After exactly two hours the pair of C-2As left the USS George Bush for NAS Sigonella.

In these two hours, the aircraft carrier travelled approximately 35 nautical miles in a northerly direction. We can therefore deduce that during this time the ship moved at a speed of about 17.5 knots.
