On 12 October, the Italian Air Force Beechcraft B.350 SPYDR (reg. MM62300) landed at Paphos Airport, Cyprus. The SYPDR can carry out both SIGINT/COMINT (Signal/Communication Intelligence) and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions.
Since then, the aircraft has been carrying out surveillance missions over the eastern Mediterranean.

It is not possible to determine precisely where these missions are carried out because the aircraft operates with the ADS-B transponder switched off, only switching it on when approaching landing.
In several instances it would appear to be operating west of Cyprus but, it must be emphasised, the last piece of track is not that significant.
