An unusual flight

Today, a Russian Air Force Airbus A319 (reg. RA-73025) operating a Russian diplomatic flight followed a very unusual route to Geneva after departing from Moscow.

In fact, the aircraft operated a very wide circle avoiding the countries of Eastern Europe.

In the flight, the aircraft entered the FIRs (Flight Information Region) of Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Malta and Italy but the A319 only entered the airspace of Turkey and Italy before arriving in Switzerland
