Surveillance mission for an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – callsign PERSEO71).
The aircraft departed from Pratica di Mare AB, south of Rome, at 13:03 CET and now the CAEW is back home after a surveillance mission carried out over eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine.
From this position, the aircraft was able to cover the whole of western Ukraine, Belarus and Kaliningrad Russian enclave.
