Refueling Poseidon (again)

Also today (we had recorded a similar situation at least three times in the last week) we’ve tracked the in-flight refueling of a USNavy Boeing P-8A (reg. 169329) over eastern Romania.

The Poseidon, departed from NAS Sigonella, orbited over Romania and then refueled in flight from a USAF Boeing KC-135R (reg. 63-8874) which took off from Spangdalhem AB, Germany.

After the refueling the Poseidon continues its surveillance mission over Danube’s delta meanwhile the Stratotanker is in flight back to Germany.
