Unusual mission of a USNavy Boeing P-8A took off from NAS Sigonella this morning at around 12:00 CET.
After heading towards the eastern Mediterranean, the aircraft made several orbits over the Ionian Sea, between Calabria and the Greek Ionian Islands, on its way back.

A patrol boat of the Romanian border police, MAI3066, is sailing in the area towards Crotone from where it will operate as a Frontex asset.
