Since last night, we have been recording abnormal traffic over eastern Poland. Several assets have been carrying out surveillance missions for more than 12 hours.
A pair of USAF Boeing E-3A (reg. 77-0351, 76-1617, callsign NOVA01/02) is orbiting near the border with Ukraine.
Same area of activity for a USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4131, callsign JAKE11)
Also heading for the same area was a USN Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 157318) which took off from Souda Bay AB.Remember that US President Joe Biden’s trip to Warsaw is imminent.
UPDATE: President Biden visited Kyiv today, thus explaining this air activity.
