The Leonardo EC-27J “Jedi” is based on C-27J and it has been extensively modified to perform Electronic Warfare missions.

The Italian plane (reg. MM62221 – callsign WOLFxx) this afternoon carried out a mission over northern Iraq.

We had previously tracked these aircraft in this area assuming they were based in Erbil
