The Kama has reappeared

At 10:40 CEST, the Russian Navy tanker Kama (MMSI: 273540290) entered the port of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Four days ago, we tracked the ship as it made a turn to the south in the central Red Sea but then evidently resumed its northward navigation.

It is not the first time that Russian Navy units have made a stop in Jeddah.

The frigate Admiral Gorshkov is also with Kama as we can see in this video released by the Russian Navy.

Recall that the two ships have been in navigation since early January and have the Syrian port of Tartus in the Mediterranean as their final destination. The Admiral Gorshkov  would be armed with new Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles. This would be the first time Russia has deployed an armed unit with this type of weaponry in the Mediterranean theater.

+++UPDATE 06 April+++
