New surveillance mission by a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – callsign FORTE10) but new surveillance mission over Romanian territory (not the Black Sea).
After the incident involving the loss of a USAF Reaper we still tracked some USAF drone missions over the Black Sea but then these ended and the only Global hawk missions we tracked took place over land.
Of course, it is possible that missions took place without these being tracked (although this is odd since, at least on departure and arrival, drones pass through areas with high concentrations of civilian traffic).
Or, after the Reaper incident a more cautious course of action was chosen by not sending Global Hawks into “hotter” areas
