For the first time we record the flight over the Black Sea of, at least, a USAF Rockwell B-1B ‘Lancer’ (reg. 85-0064).
The aircraft took off this morning from RAF Fairford base together with another Lancer (reg. 86-0105) and after an aerial refuelling over Germany and a flight which also took it over Poland it entered the Black Sea at 15:15 just south of Constanta.
No other NATO aircraft are currently traceable in the area.

During an actual conflict I doubt that the bomber would get anywhere near launch positions as it would be immediately spotted by Russian air defences & taken out by MIG31 interceptors or long range air defences.
TBH unless these bombers are launching long range cruise missiles it just a exercise in futility.
It would be far more cost effective to use drones in any attack on an enemy.
