On 30 July, at 02:35 a.m., a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – c/s FORTE12) left NAS Sigonella bound for the Black Sea.
It has been some time since we have tracked USAF drone missions in the area, but the most interesting thing is that the mission took place in the eastern part of the Black Sea from where the drone can monitor not only the areas of Russia bordering Ukraine but also the naval bases of the Black Sea Fleet located in the area.
So a deeper mission that we have not seen for quite some time.
The drone returned to Sicily this morning around 06:00 CEST.
