NATO assets in the Black Sea were busy on Sunday.
The US Navy Boeing P-8A Poseidon that had been patrolling the area since last night, returned to NAS Sigonella, Sicily, at 10:00 CEST.
The area is still under constant surveillance, as the Poseidon was replaced by two other aircraft: a US Navy Lockheed EP-3E Aries II (registration 156517) that took off from Souda Bay Air Base, Greece, and a NATO Boeing E-3A Sentry (registration LX-N90453) that took off from Konya Air Base, Turkey.
