The USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) after her stop in Trieste (it left the city on September 21) operated for several days in the southern Adriatic.

However, the route of this USN Grumman C-2A reveals that the ship has moved further south and is currently sailing in the Ionian Sea west of the Peloponnese.
