NATO (and others) eyes on the eastern flank

Double SIGINT mission today on the NATO’s northeast flank: an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293), based in Lithuania for several days, is conducting a surveillance mission over the Baltic States.

At the same time, a Swedish Air Force Gulfstream KORPEN (reg. 102003) conducted another surveillance mission over eastern Poland near the Belarusian border.

Sweden is not yet a NATO member, but has been operating in close coordination with NATO countries for several months.
