USAF Traffic in the Mediterranean. Currently, there are four USAF tankers flying over the central Mediterranean heading west.

These include two Boeing KC-46A aircraft (with registrations 20-46073 and 16-46017, using callsigns CLEAN52/62), and two McDonnell Douglas KC-10A aircraft (with registrations 86-0027 and 85-0029, using callsigns CLEAN51/61).

All four aircraft took off from the Qatari base in Al Rayyan and are en route to Moron AB in Spain.

The four tankers are providing support to 12 USAF Lockheed Martin F-16s that are returning to the United States after their deployment in the Gulf.
