Continuing her navigation in the Eastern Mediterranean is the US aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford (CVN-78).

Using the flight path of a pair of US Navy Grumman C-2A aircraft, we are able to precisely determine its current location. The two aircraft took off from a location near Tobruk, Libya, and later landed at Souda Bay Air Base.

Since then, the Gaza crisis compelled the aircraft carrier to sail in the Eastern Mediterranean for weeks. Meanwhile, the Pentagon extended her presence in the Mediterranean.
