Surveillance mission for a French AWACS.

A French Air Force Boeing E-3CF (registration 201) took off this morning from Avord AB, central France.

The aircraft is currently (1:00 PM CET) operating over eastern Romania near the Black Sea coast, where it is conducting an aerial surveillance mission as part of the NATO deployment aimed at ensuring the security of the Alliance’s eastern flank.
