Today has also been a busy day in the skies around the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. Throughout the day, surveillance missions have been ongoing. This afternoon, there were at least three NATO assets deployed in the area:
- A NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90445) orbiting over southwest Poland near Gdansk.
- A USN Boeing P-8A orbiting over the Baltic Sea off the coast of Kaliningrad.
- A US Army Bombardier ARTEMIS (reg. N159L – c/s BRIO67) flying along the Russian border over Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland.
