Busy skies in the Black Sea theatre

Today has been another intense day in the skies over the Black Sea. Multiple missions have taken place throughout the day. During the night, a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – c/s FORTE13) operated in the area, taking off from Sigonella.

This morning, a RAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. ZZ665) orbited over eastern Romania between Moldova and Bulgaria.

On the Black Sea coast, two other assets were also active: an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293) taking off from Pratica di Mare AB, and a USN Boeing P-8A taking off from NAS Sigonella. Further evidence of the high level of NATO commitment in the area.
