Saturday concludes with new surveillance missions in the Eastern Mediterranean area.
On one hand, there was a SIGINT mission by a USN Boeing P-8A from Sigonella conducted off the coast of Syria (an area back in the spotlight after yesterday’s US raids).
On the other hand, a similar mission was carried out by an RAF Beech Shadow R.MK 1 (reg. ZZ416) based at RAF Akrotiri. However, these types of missions (the British Shadows have been conducting them since the beginning of the Gaza crisis) are not traceable, so we can only speculate, given the partial traces recorded in the past, where they might have been carried out (off the coast of Gaza/Israel).
