Exercise «INIOCHOS» is an annual medium scale exercise (type INVITEX) based on the facilities of the AIR TACTICS CENTER at the Andravida Air Base, located in the Northwest Peloponnese, Greece.
The duration of the exercise is 15 calendar days and operations make use of the majority of Athens FIR. The Exercise scenario adopts a Single Base Concept (execution of operations from a single Air Base), with the participation of all branches of the Armed Forces.
The exercise will start on Monday 1 April 2019 for a period of two weeks.
The following air forces and aircraft are reported to participate in the exercise:
- GREEECE: Lockheed Martin F-16 (block 30/50/52+/M), McDonnel Douglas F-4E, Dassault Mirage 2000s and Embraer EMB145H AEW&C
- CYPRUS: AgustaWestland AW139
- ISRAEL: Lockheed Martin F-16 (12-14x)
- ITALY: Lockheed Martin F-35A (6x) and Panavia Tornado ECR/IDS (6x)
- UAE: Dassault Mirage M2000-9 (6x)
- USA: Lockheed Martin F-16 (6x)
