CAEW mission off Libya

An Italian Air Force Gulfstream G.550 CAEW (MM62293) left around 3 PM CET Pratica di Mare AB southbound. When the aircraft was flying north of Sicily the signal was lost (ADS-B transponder turn off?).

After 3 hrs was possible to track the CAEW again, this time the aircraft was off southern Sicily in flight northbound.

Probably the Italian Gulfstream made a surveillance mission over central Mediterranean Sea off Libya, as already seen in the past.
