New French mission in Libya

This morning we’ve tracked from Istres AB, southern France, to the Strait of Sicily, a French Air Force Boeing C-135FR ” Stratotanker “ (471). The aircraft followed the usual route used by French tankers in flight to Libya.

The mission is now (12:00 local time) still in progress. The Stratotanker is not alone and we can suppose that in the area there are probably other French aircraft because the aircraft is making an aerial refueling mission off western Libya.
