New day, new mission

Yesterday we’ve tracked a French C-135FR making an aerial refueling mission off Tripoli. Today a new similar mission is in progress in these minutes (9 AM CET).

A French Air Force Boeing C-135FR (reg. 471 – callsign FAF4012 ) left around 06:30 AM CET Istres AB and now is circuiting over central Mediterranean Sea off Tripoli.

This is the only aircraft tracked in this area but certainly  the Stratotanker is not alone and we can suppose that it’s supporting other other French aircraft operating somewhere over central mediterranean Sea or, more likely, over Libya.

UPDATE

Around 12:00AM CET the mission is finished and now the C-135FR is back to Istres AB.
