An Italian Air Force Airbus A319 (MM62209) is in flight from Rome Ciampino to Cairo, Egypt, with the Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, aboard.

Di Maio, after a meeting in Belgium yesterday with his colleagues from France, Germany and the United Kingdom and another meeting in Istanbul with the Minister of Turkish Foreign Mevlut Cavusoglu, today will fly to Cairo and then to Tunisi and Algeri (we don’t know if also today).

The Italian minister will be in Cairo to participate in a five-party summit with his counterparts from Egypt, France, Greece and Cyprus to talk about Libyan crisis.
