“Gabriel” in Cyprus

A French Air Force VFW Transall C-160NG (F216/GT) from Escadron Électronique Aéroporté ‘Dunkerque’ took off from Larnaka, Cyprus, landing after some minutes in RAF Akrotiri.

Probably this aircraft is used for SIGINT mission off Syria or in Iraq to support French operation Chammal against ISIS (in the are there is also the French carier Charles de Gaulle). in the past we’ve tracked the same plane also off Libya.
