French Navy “Hawkeye ” over eastern Med

A French Navy Northrop Grumman E-2C “Hawkeye ” ( 165455/1) departed this afternoon from aircraft carrier “Charles de Gaulle” in the eastern Mediterranean Sea make a surveillance mission between Cyprus and Syria.

The French Navy (Marine Nationale) Carrier Strike Group left on 22nd January Toulon for a long operational deployment named “Foch” to support the French forces of Operation Chammal (against ISIS)
