Turkish Navy ATR-72 to Misrata?

This morning, around 09:30 CET we’ve tracked this Turkish Navy ATR-72 600 MUA (reg. TCB-701 – callsign TUNAV02) in flight from Sigonella AB to Libya. You can see in this screenshot the last position tracked.

Yesterday the turkish aircraft arrived in Sigonella from Dalaman airport, southern Turkey.

The ATR72 TMUA feature new radios; an IFF (Identification Friend or Foe system) and a cabin area equipped with tactical tables and communications equipment for the crew. The aircraft, to be easily reconfigured into cargo, will be used for utility roles, personnel and cargo logistic transport.
