Turkish eye on Aegean Sea

This morning we’re tracking a Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (13-001) departed from Konya AB, central Turkey, making a surveillance mission near Aegean Turkish coast.

The Boeing E-7T is a twin-engine airborne early warning and control aircraft. It is lighter than the 707-based Boeing E-3 Sentry, and has a fixed, active electronically scanned array radar antenna instead of a rotating one.
