Yesterday we’ve published a post on the arrival of Russian Mig-29 in Libya. Today we’ve more informations about.
Indeed, some MiG-29s arrived in Libya in the last days: a satellite photo of May 19 shows one of them at al-Jufrah AB. In the photo you can see a Mig-29 while you can also see some Mig-2s5 (which however are no longer in flight conditions).
According to information from various sources they are 6 second-hand Belarusian Mig-29s, they are not Russian Air Force planes but they will be used directly by the LNA Air Force.
The pilots should be Libyan (but of course there are no confirmation)
