Today we’ve tracked an intense aerial activity over central Mediterranean Sea.

Italian Air Force aircraft made different missions

  • A Beechcraft B.350ER (MM62300) departed from Pantelleria AB made an ISR mission off Misrata
  • An ATR P-72A (MM62279) departed from Sigonella AB made a surveillance mission over southern Ionian Sea
  • In the same area we’ve tracked also a Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (MM62293) made a similar mission

Note that of this last two missions we’ve not the track of the entire flight.

Similar mission (in the same area) also for a Hellenic Air Force Embraer ERJ-145 AE&W departed from Elefsis AB.

Also the French Air Force was present in the central Mediterranean Sea this morning with a Transall C-160NG (F216) the electronic warfare version of the classical Transall, departed from the northern France it’s the third day in the last week that this aircraft made a surveillance mission off Libya.
