Turkish AWACS on task off Cyprus

This morning we’re tracking a Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (13-0002) departed from Konya AB making a surveillance mision south west of Cyprus.

In the same area yesterday we’ve tracked a similar mission made by an Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C.

As you can see from the map in the area of the mission, a Turkish vessel (Yavuz) is stalking a drilling block licensed to the French and Italian oil companies Total and ENI
