Heavy lift to Libya

Yesterday evening we’ve tracked a Russian Air Force An-124 (RA-82103) in flight over eastern Mediterranean Sea westbound.

When the aircraft entered into Egyptian FIR the ADS-B transponder was switched off (around 23:45 CEST).

The aircraft continued its flight to west and finally landed in Benghazi, eastern Libya.

The flight originated from Russia and used the “Caspian route” to avoid the Turkey airspace.
