NATO Global Hawk mission over Libya

In these minutes (19:50 CEST) we’re tracking a Global Hawk descending to NAS Sigonella.

The ICAO hexcode indicated (33FD6B) is Italian but also in the past we’ve tracked the same “plane” and observing the route, the altitude (over 50k feet) and the speed (350 knot) of the aircraft we can identify it as a  Northrop Grumman RQ-4D “Global Hawk”, one of the NATO drones based in Sigonella (callsign “MAGMA”) .

The drone is back probably from a surveillance mission over Libya.
