We are usually used to seeing FORTE10 (one of the Northrop Grumman RQ-4B “Global Hawk” based in Sigonella) carrying out missions over eastern Ukraine or over the Black Sea.
Indeed this morning the American drone carried out the usual mission off the Crimea but then continued eastwards.
In these minutes (12:30 CEST) he is carrying out a reconnaissance flight in Georgia not far from the borders with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Evidently in this flight US want to keep under observation what is happening in that region, the theater of a real war between the two countries for several days.
