An Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C (757) left around 15:15 CEST Elefsis AB, near Athens.

In the last days the Greek AWACS made different surveillance mission near the island of karpathos to monito the area where is underway the Turkish research ship Oruc Reis.

Today the aircraft didn’t made the usual mission but came back to Elefsis after 40 minutes of flight landing in the airbase around 16:30.

We don’t know if the aircraft aborted the mission or if this was a test flight but it’s interesting that the aircraft didn’t have the usual classign “OURAN41” but a little different one “OURAN41A”
