New busy day over Aegean Sea. An Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C (757) departed from Elefsis AB, near Athens, made a surveillance mission west of the island of Karpathos this early morning. The aircraft landed again in Elefsis around 09:45 CEST.
This morning a similar mission was done by a Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (13-004) orbiting near Dalaman on the Aegean coast.
Meanwhile the Turkish research ship Oruc Reis is underway with other Turkish ships near the Greek island of Kastelorizo
