From November 30 to December 13, a French Air Force Atlantique 2 was deployed to Souda Bay AB, Greece.

During these 2 weeks, the French aircraft carried out 11 flights: 6 as Operation Chammal asset and 5 in direct support of Operation EURONAVFORMED Irini.

Opération Chammal is a French military operation in Iraq and Syria in an attempt to contain the expansion of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and to support the Iraqi Army.

The European Union Naval Force Mediterranean Operation IRINI (EUNAVFOR MED IRINI) was launched on March 31, 2020 with the aim to enforce the United Nations arms embargo to Libya
