Turkish Navy SAR mission or anti-submarine warfare mission?

Share
Share

This morning at 09:50 CET a Turkish Navy ATR C-72MPA (reg. TCB-751 – callsign MARTI77) left NAS Izmit to make a mission over northern Aegean.

Arrived in the area around 10:50 the aircraft is still making a mission between Greek islands of Thasos, Lymnos and Samothràki. The pattern of the flight is similar to that one of a SAR mission or a anti-submarine warfare mission.

As you can see in the image under the title of the post there are not ship trackable in the area.
