Turkish AWACS off Libya

After a long time this morning we’re tracking a surveillance mission made by a Turkish Air Force AWACS over central mediterranean sea off Libya.

The aircraft, a Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-002 – callsign TURAF42) is departed from Konya AB, central Turkey, and now is operating over the central Mediterranean Sea at an altitude of 32.000 feet.

As you can see the track is not very clear but we know thaht the aircraft is operating in this area at least from 09:30 CET.
