NATO mission over eastern Mediterranean Sea

This morning a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MM-AV-SA0017 – callsign IAV0017) left around 08:00 CEST Sigonella AB eastbound (usually NATO “Phoenix” use MAGMA callsign but we’ve already tracked on July 26, 2020 a NATO RQ-4D with this callsign on its ferry flight from the USA to Sigonella).

We’ve already tracked Phoenix missions over eastern Mediterranean sea (off Syria) but this time when the RQ-4D was in flight south of Cyprus the ADS-B transponder was switched off (around 11:00 CEST).

After 5 hours and half (16:32) the Phoenix is reappeared in the same area this name flying westbound to Sigonella.
