New French Air Force Libyan mission

This morning we’ve tracked from Istres AB, southern France, to the Strait of Sicily, a French Air Force Boeing C-135FR ” Stratotanker “ (735). The aircraft followed the usual route used in the past by French tankers in flight to Libya.

The aircraft is departed at 10:30 CEST and is disappeared around 12:15 when it was in flight off western Libya southbound.

The mission is now (13:00 CEST) still in progress. The Stratotanker is not alone and we can suppose that in the area there are probably other French aircraft.
